Millet feeds a third of the planet and predates almost every crop we know — yet most of us barely give it a thought. Wikipedia has the facts, spread thin across many articles. This little site does one thing: it gathers everything about this humble, ancient grain into one warm, complete read.

From the first domesticated seeds ten thousand years ago to the bowl on a modern table, the millet story is scattered across dozens of Wikipedia entries. We bring it together — botany, history, food, farming and future — into a single thread you can simply read.
